Christmas in our New Home - Oak Park Style! What a gift!!

Who knew that it would take me longer to update the blog when moving into a new home versus having a baby. I think I blogged moments after delivery, but it seems delivering a house takes a bit more effort!

Berk, Ruby and I could not be happier in our home in Oak Park. Our new neighbors have been tremendous! The entire community is welcoming, and our Victorian home feels like it's been waiting for us to live here since it was built back in 1890! Yes, we were meant to enjoy our family in this home. Not only our immediate family, but also friends and family may now visit and stay. We are so happy!

Above is a shot from outside... the first night in the house.

While Mommy was unpacking, Ruby and Daddy went out to play in the snow that seemed to never end!

Now that we have a backyard, we can't wait to play in it!
Grand Dre came to visit for Christmas!!
The Wasserman Clan on Christmas Eve.
After Mass, Ruby decided to party it up while she waited for Santa to come! (and for Mommys stove to actually pre-heat!)
Christmas morning!
Santa Nana/Pappa left Ruby a beautiful table & chairs!
A pink new tent greeted Ruby when she awoke!
Oh! and a fun new slide!!! What a great day!!

Other visitors who came to check out the new house were, Aunt Lanie, Uncle Jimmy, Nana & Pappa who made a huge dent in updating the house! PLUS the Muth family made a visit as well!!!
