After a night of little sleep, lots of diaper changing and poor to fair swaddle execution, our first night at home with Ruby couldn't have been more beautiful! Having her at home is a dream. She is so ridiculously sweet...even at 3am...screaming...and making poopies. Lots and lots and lots of poopies. Still sweet. Lots of poopies.
The upside to little sleep in night one led to amazing Ruby snuggling in day two. Wanting to catch up on the hours she lost in the previous night, Ruby napped on all of us today. Literally on us. On Na-Na for five hours this morning. On daddy during the Cubs game and National Lampoon's European Vacation. And on Mommy for pretty much every minute in between.
When she was up Ruby got her first bath and she actually liked it! Here are some shots of the day...
